DeFi self-custody lending protocol on Simplicity Contracts (LBTC -> USDT)

The Simplicity Lending Testnet website is now available on staging!

The current build works with Jade and supports the full end-to-end lending flow:

  • Create offer → Accept & supply → Repay → Claim interest
  • Create offer → Cancel offer
  • Create offer → Accept & supply → Liquidate

Requirements

  • Jade must be configured in Testnet mode
  • Connect it via USB
  • You also need to claim some test tokens from faucet: Liquid faucet

Please keep in mind that this is still a work in progress. You may run into bugs, rough edges, or incomplete functionality.

Feedback & Future Work
We are collecting bug reports and some cool UX suggestions. It would be great to discuss these ideas with you.

Testing
If you have a Jade, you can test the complete flow and share any feedback here. We’re looking for everything: bugs, UX issues, confusing interactions, performance problems, copy improvements, etc.

Have fun testing, looking forward to your feedback!

Hi @Sberex,

I was hoping to demonstrate this at my workshop today but I don’t have a Jade with me. I realize that the Jade integration is itself a significant accomplishment in terms of making the lending contract more realistic, but I remember an earlier version that would display an LWK-based web wallet.

Is there a straightforward way that we could bring back the web wallet as an option to facilitate demos without a Jade, even though this is a less realistic version of the demo overall?

Alternatively, I could try to remember to bring my Jade when I present a workshop.
